In 1959 Kristian Vedel designed a small family of wooden BIRDs, which quickly caught the attention of the public and became one of the most successful Danish wooden products from the 60s.
The BIRDs come in three various sizes, the adult, the child, and the grandparent and in two colour variations
– smoked and natural.
The BIRDs are hand made by a small Danish wood turner.
The BIRDs can express all frames of mind and bodies can be turned making it either female or male. Their heads can be positioned to express any emotion.
Dimensions: Height 10.5cm.
