The simple yet expressive BIRD was designed by Kristian Vedel in 1959.
Its high quality and timelessness have ensured continuous popularity ever since its launch. The BIRD family is hand made by a small wood turner in Denmark and is produced only out of the highest quality of smoked and natural Danish oak wood.
The BIRDs come in three sizes: children parents and grandparents, and are comprised of a two parts – the body and the head. The body is pear shaped and can be turned upside down, so that one can decide between having a girl or a boy BIRD. Their head can be tilted and rotated in various ways in order to create countless expressions depending on your mood. Whether your BIRD is happy, curious or sad is completely up to you!
